Penned by longtime resident, Frances Smith, this 72 page booklet tells the story of North Ridgeville from the perspective of a majestic old elm tree which grew on Stoney Ridge.  Published in 1985, on the 175th anniversary of our founding, it is the product of years of research in the days before the internet-when people gained historical facts through anecdotes and memories of residents past and present.  The Elm Tree saw many changes in this walk through the past in North Ridgeville!
