Cemetery Tours
Did you know we have 10* Revolutionary War Veterans buried right here in North Ridgeville? This weekend you can explore a little about these men and their lives in a self-guided tour of both Ridgeville Cemetery (on Center Ridge) and Fields Cemetery (on Lorain Road). There is little to no parking at either site, so visitors are asked to follow the signs that will direct them to specified entrance and exit driveways for each location to help with parking. Gravesites will be designated with a tall flag and a brochure will be available for visitors. Times for the event will be 8:00 am to 8:00 pm each day- rain or shine.
Fields Cemetery has one gravesite
Center Ridge Cemetery has nine gravesites
*An additional veteran, who lived many years here in town is buried elsewhere with family members, however he was the father, grandfather, and uncle of many of our residents. We claim him as one of “our own”.
Field’s Cemetery is located at 34100 Lorain Rd. (across the street from Field’s United Methodist Church)
Ridgeville Center Cemetery is located at 36330 Center Ridge (at the corner of Stoney Ridge and across the street from the Congregational Church)
