Ohio Open Doors

Have you ever wondered what attending school was like 100 years ago?   As part of Ohio’s Open Doors  initiative, the District #9 Schoolhouse will be open two extra days this month.  Open Doors encourages Ohio’s museums to open their doors for free access to their venues to encourage appreciation of our State’s rich heritage sites.  Because our Schoolhouse is always free, we are offering additional times and different days than usual to allow you to visit on a weekday and Saturday.  Mark your calendars for September 11th and 12th from 10-4 each day.  This is your opportunity to explore the building and grounds (including outhouses) on your own and really get the true experience of an “old school” education.  Members will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.  Parking is limited, but nearby side street parking is available.
